This week, the 'The Climate Book' book by climate activist Greta Thunberg debuted in bookstores across North America. While it sought to elicit inquiries about the deteriorating climate crisis and what potentially dangerous future lies for humanity, internet users only seemed interested in learning how many trees were felled to produce the book, which takes up a lot of shelf space because it manages to condense the complexities of climate change into 84 intricate chapters.

The 20-year-old climate activist announced on Twitter on Wednesday that the book, which she and a group of more than 100 experts put together, had been published in the US and Canada.

"It gives me much joy to announce that The Climate Book is being marketed in the States and Canada. To emphasize the many diverse challenges, we confront and provide us with the information we need to prevent a climate calamity, I have assembled the knowledge of more than 100 contributors. "She posted a photo of herself holding the book.

The tweet received more than 1,40,000 likes but also sparked much discussion and criticism among social media users. One wrote, "Just curious, how many trees were taken down for these books???" Oli London, an internet celebrity with 65,000 followers on the network, wanted an explanation for why the book was not released online.

While Thunberg has yet to respond to the contentious query, she made it plain in another tweet that the book has to be distributed worldwide since it contains the world's "greatest tale." The Climate Book, written by Thunberg and over a hundred environmental activists, scientists, researchers, and journalists, is a compilation of their thought-provoking exchanges.

The dialogues span 464 pages and focus on just one fact: the urgency of addressing climate change.

It acts as a guide for how mankind might ensure a secure future for future generations on Earth. Together with the knowledge and wisdom of specialists, the book includes Thunberg's experiences about beginning her fight against the climate problem at the age of 15, when many people typically get lost in frivolous adolescent pursuits.
